There are a few options here. He could apologize. He could speak to Ragnar about it. Hell, he could call him right now and get his opinion. He could do something horrible to Athelstan, make sure he's too humiliated to bring it up. Or maybe...
...Well, maybe that might just happen on its own. And then he won't have to deal with this, at least for a while. It isn't his problem, it's between them. They've both fucked him, it's not like Ragnar has any ground to be angry at either of them.]
