The Messiah is the deliverer of the Jewish people in their religious texts. There were many prophecies that he would come. Jesus Christ is that Messiah but they do not believe he is the one.

Christ was crucified by the Romans. He died for our sins so that we could be forgiven. Something in him aches that Christ gave himself for him and yet he could not find himself fully devoted. How weak is he? ]

After three days, he returned to life and left his tomb. He stayed among his followers, teaching for a little while longer before ascending back into heaven until it is time for him to come to Earth again.
